Position Title: Deputy National Data Director
Reporting Structure: Reports to the National Data Director
Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position is $60,000 to 78,000, depending on experience and skill sets.
Job Classification: Full time, exempt
Schedule: Full-time (40 or more hours per week, and can reach 70+ hours at peak times)
Location: Fully remote anywhere in the United States

Position Summary
Revolution Field Strategies is seeking a talented, driven individual for the role of Deputy National Data Director to assist the National Data Director in designing and building reports that track progress and health of key programmatic priorities, including voter contact, volunteer recruitment and leadership development.
The Deputy National Data Director will report directly to the National Data Director. This is a remote role, and the applicant will not be required to relocate; however, traveling might be required for training and other purposes. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $78,000, depending on experience and skill sets.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build reports and tools for the Revolution Field Strategies team as well as key stakeholders in line with key programmatic priorities, including, but not limited to Organizing, mobilization, and petitioning, and voter registration teams
Assist in developing targeting and resource allocation
Create and maintain data standards to ensure data capture and hygiene
Develop and present VAN | Votebuilder and Blocks training materials to the Organizing Team in statewide, small group and one-on-one settings
Respond to data support requests and flags
Support other members of the Data Team to complete projects as necessary
Responsible for managing data associates
Qualifications
Must possess a computer with at least 12 gigabytes of ram
Must have two computer monitors
Familiarity with digital campaign tools (Slack, Google Suite, NGP VAN, etc.)
Experience using VAN (Votebuilder)
Experience working with large datasets, including standardizing and analyzing
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets Proficiency in SQL
Ability and willingness to work a demanding schedule, which can reach 70+ hours per week at peak times and can be expected to include evenings and weekends
Plus Qualifications
Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and platforms used by other team members
Strong communication skills and an ability to explain complex data reports in layperson’s terms
A creative and analytical mindset in approach to projects and tasks
A track record of prioritizing projects with the ability to be self-directed
A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience using Tableau, QGIS, or other data visualization programs
Experience in Python, R, or other programming languages preferred
Essential Physical Requirements
As this is a remote position, the individual in this position must be able to communicate with colleagues and partners via phone, including conference and video calls, as well as written communication such as email
The position requires the ability to attend occasional in-person events throughout the year which may encompass all or part of the work day
