Position Title: National Program Director

Reporting Structure: Head of Programs

Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position is $84,000 to $96,000 depending on experience and skill sets, along with the expectation of year-end bonuses.

Job Classification: Full time, exempt
Schedule: Full-time (40 or more hours per week, and can reach 70+ hours at peak times)

Location: Remote

Position Summary

Revolution Field Strategies is seeking a talented and dynamic National Program Director, who will be responsible for overseeing a variety of company project’s throughout the country in 2024, including the direct management of Project Directors and on-the-ground program leadership.

The National Program Director will work with company leadership to develop hiqh-quality, innovative programs for a broad, diverse set of clients and partners, and will be the primary conduit to our project teams.

The National Program Director will report directly to the RFS Head of Programs. This role is remote, but the applicant will be required to travel frequently to project locations throughout the country.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and regular management of project-level staff to maintain a standard of excellence and ensure that all goals and project objectives are obtained

  • Foster a healthy project working culture by providing motivation management and investing in the growth and development of program department staff

  • Work with other departments to fulfill project-level priorities including recruitment, onboarding, termination, training and data-related needs

  • Work with company leadership and the Operations Department to ensure that project staff are adhering to budget guidance

  • As needed, travel to project sites to inspect and review project operations, training and provide in-person management of employees

  • Maintain client relationships through consistent and scheduled communication, along with regular updates on project progress

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience in personnel and organizational management

  • Proven experience in managing and leading comprehensive, state-level programs and projects that require extensive organizing, operations, and client relationship management

  • Demonstrated competency in strategic planning and implementation

  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, particularly when managing remote employees located throughout the country

  • Campaign experience and/or deep understanding of the current political landscape preferred but not required

  • Experience running programs with multiple deliverables is strongly preferred.

  • Ability and willingness to work a demanding schedule, which can reach 70+ hours per week at peak times and can be expected to include evenings and weekends

  • Must possess a cell phone, laptop, and reliable internet

  • Must be able to travel to project locations across the country; travel, lodging, and other related expenses are provided by RFS

  • Familiarity with Google Suite and VAN is preferred

Essential Physical Requirements

  • As this is a remote position, the individual in this position must be able to communicate with colleagues and partners via phone, including conference and video calls, as well as written communication such as email.

  • The position requires the ability to attend in-person events and training throughout the year which may encompass all or part of the work day.

  • This position may entail other travel.

  • This position requires vision/hearing abilities.
